Distinguished Speaker Series: Professor emeritus Dudley Herschbach

The second PRISE open university event- Noble Laurette Professor Herschbach spoke to us about his life as a scientist.

"Science is an intrinsically social enterprise"

"Objective waits patiently"

Professor Herschbach explaining to Lester, a physics concentrator, why a physicist would say that HCl has no dipole moment! Up close and personal.

Professor Herschbach concluded the talk by saying that the best thing you can do to balance your life is to find a spouse who is wonderful :)
He ended by playing the song "Experiment," by Cole Porter, 1933. PRISE theme song??

(Sorry about the video, this was the only copy of the song that I could find on YouTube!)
